Mucho antes de que Yuck viviese los cambios internos que dejaron a Daniel Blumberg al frente de Hebronix y a sus compañeros de formación en plena reformulación, Mariko Doi ya había dado sus primeros pasos con Parakeet.
Parakeet es de hecho el proyecto paralelo a Yuck que Doi viene liderando junto a James Llewellyn Thomas desde hace más de un año. Ambos han estrenado hoy mismo el primer adelanto de Pink Noise, EP formado por cuatro canciones, presentado en una edición limitada en cassette rosa a través de Marshall Teller Records. De Parekeet, por cierto, recomendamos recuperar aquel Shonen Hearts con el que se presentaron formalmente
